Data-led insight. Human clarity.
We turn data into decisions, then prove the method works in public: a Shopify diagnostic tool merchants pay for, football analysis that gets things right, a briefing enterprise data leaders read. Same thinking, different arenas.
How it works
A real example, client details withheld.
Research
Conducted interviews across a major FMCG client's three international regions to understand their challenges, how they used data in their day-to-day roles, and what information they actually had access to.
Insight
Local customisation in each region, not the underlying data, was the actual cause of inconsistent reporting.
Strategy
Changed the operating model to centralise data ownership, and designed and led the build of the standardised global data products to support it, replacing region-specific approaches with one consistent structure.
Outcome
Daily dynamic reporting increased efficiency, and a single source of truth reduced the risk of relying on inconsistent regional data.
The proof
Turning data into decisions isn't a claim, it's a method, the one you just saw. Here it is applied to three genuinely different problems.
Proof #1: Revenue decisions
Real store data, turned into a plain-English report a merchant can act on in 60 seconds, not a dashboard they need an analyst to interpret. Paying customers, live product.
Try Store Doctor →Proof #2: Predictive analysis
From 30 years of Arsenal data to a live 2026 World Cup tracker, the same rigorous, evidence-first method applied somewhere with zero commercial stakes, because the method should hold up regardless of the domain.
World Cup 2026 →Proof #3: Enterprise strategy
A bi-weekly briefing translating AI and data developments into decisions for CDOs, CDAOs and Heads of Analytics, the same insight-to-action thinking, aimed at people making enterprise-level calls.

Shopify · AI Diagnostics · SaaS
Connects to a Shopify store and produces a plain-English diagnostic report in 60 seconds. Conversion funnel, page speed, attribution blind spots and mobile performance, benchmarked and ranked by £ monthly revenue impact.
Football · Tournament Analysis
Complete tracker covering all 48 teams across group stage through the Final. Spain won the 2026 World Cup beating Argentina 1-0. Elo predictions, bracket tree, key moments and World Cup Wrapped.
Football · Statistical Modelling
Poisson regression and 80,000 Monte Carlo simulations across three decades of data. The model called Arsenal's title at 62% probability by game 33.
About
Insight Sessions turns data into decisions, then proves the method works in public. Store Doctor does it for Shopify revenue. Our football analysis does it with zero commercial stakes, to show the standard holds regardless of the domain. The AI Strategist does it for enterprise data leaders.
The thesis is the same everywhere: data is only valuable once it changes what someone does next. A dashboard nobody acts on is decoration. Every product, report and briefing we build is judged against one question, does this actually change a decision.
Founded by Diana Akanho, Data Professional listed in the DataIQ 100, a top 20 Women in Data and Tech, and Angel Investor, Insight Sessions is built on the conviction that the gap between data and understanding is where the most important work happens.
Recognition
Whether you need a data strategy, a speaking engagement, an event partner or just want to talk about what we're building, the door is open.
